A good way to find out more about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Good afternoon <<First Name>>,
Welcome to Issue #12 of Disability Loop eNews. We have made a couple of small changes to the design of this email, in response to some helpful feedback from some of you. Feel free to share your thoughts with us – we’re always happy to hear from you.
In Issue #12 we talk about some of the ways Australian newspapers have been talking about the funding for the NDIS in 2016. We help you get the facts so that you can make up your own mind about what the media tells us.
We also continue with our ‘IAC in focus’ series of articles, which gives you updates on the activities of an independent group of disability experts who give the NDIS advice.
The details on the ILC consultation sessions which are happening around the country now are also included.
We have found some great new resources that have been designed for people with disability from New South Wales – but they have good information that will be helpful for people all over the country. This includes a video about the NDIS in Auslan; and NDIS fact sheets for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disabilities.
Feeling lonely and want to make new friends? Come join the MDM Club for free. Our Club members include people with autism, depression, anxiety, mental illness, blindness, deafness and many other disabilities.
We hope you find our website and eNews useful, helpful, and easy to use. We will always welcome your feedback.
