I have a child. My life revolves around my child, and that’s good, because my child needs me. Parents frequently share stories about their children. Sometimes they do it on the internet.

I need to remember that the internet is forever. My child will be an adult one day, and I want my child to have success. My child’s name will be googled when they apply for a job. I must be mindful of what I share publicly on the internet about my child. If I am not mindful, my moment of frustration may have lasting repercussions on my child.

My child will be able to see everything I said about them when they have internet access.
